This machine was a complex engineering challenge. This machine is currently working in industry.
Our design brief was to attach a common thermostat housing to five differing brackets. We achieved this by unifying five separate production cells into a single machine.
The brief for this machine was to design and build a machine to test the three components of the Ford Transit 4×4™ gearbox housing for porosity.
Our original brief was to modernise an existing machine from a mechanically actuated drive system to an electronically actuated system.
This machine was commissioned for a limited product run and as so, we designed it with minimal cost & the possibility of reconfiguration and re-tooling in mind.
